Why Quality Student Loan Help Is Needed Now More Than Ever Before
When most recent college graduates signed up to get the loans they needed to finance their education they had no idea exactly how much student loan help they would need just a few years later. Regailed with promises of finding a job immediately after graduating and making far more money than they could without a degree, most students simply thought that things would work themselves out and that taking out tens of thousands of dollars in loans was no big deal.
Oh how wrong they were.
These days you have to be incredibly lucky or very connected to find a job out of college. All too many recent graduates are struggling to survive on unpaid internships or the constant flow of temporary employment (that always promises to become full time if you just hang on a little longer). As the increased number of graduates moving back home with their parents shows, it’s almost impossible to pay rent and utilities these days, never mind your student loan bill!
This is why student loan help is in such high demand, yet it still seems almost impossible to find. An online search for financial counseling or loan help tends to bring up a dozen or more sham sites designed to take your money, or worse yet legitimate government websites than are so arcane and indecipherable that you almost need a lawyer to translate. If something is not done to ease this situation soon the student loan bubble may burst even worse than the mortgage or dotcom bubbles did. Imagine the discontent and anger created by millions of college graduates suddenly loosing all of their income each month to a small cadre of banks. There is only one way a situation like that could end, and it is definitely not pretty…
